There is so much more to Gabe than you can see in all the other books. Yes, he’s funny and a bit of a man whore. Yes, he’s the “good cop” to Reid’s “bad cop”. And yes he has his secrets. He’s got a dark side he keeps just under the surface. You know it’s there and that it’s not just because of his evil father. This darkness has a female written all over it and no one knows who or why.All it takes to bring out the other facets of Gabe are a feisty, independent redhead named Abigail. It seems damaged attracts damaged. Her secrets are dark and dangerous but she needs his help. Wants his help. Wants him. The two are magnets, drawn to each other. So much push and pull, each trying to protect the other. In addition to the obvious alpha she elicits in him, the dog-whispering romantic is somewhat astounding, and yet not.But His Demand is not just a romance, it’s suspense. Her past and his have merged to take her down and threaten her very existence. Trust is completely missing between them but protecting the other from this evil is in the forefront. Both will go to any lengths it seems in their protection. All it takes is one phone call. Who threw down the gauntlet? As always, I can easily lose myself in Lisa Renee Jones’ books but now I need Her Submission!

Oh wow....Gabe and Addie are hot. His Demand is full of intrigue, secrets you know that need to come out and is steam. Gabe goes after what he wants. He is strong and powerful. But you see this side of him you don't expect to see once Addie is in the picture. I love that commanding sweet side that takes over when Addie is near. Addie you can tell from the beginning that something is up with her. She isn't a stranger to powerful men. But one kiss with Gabe and she is a goner. I love that she keeps trying to run from this connection. Gabe and Addie have this wonderful instant connection that you can't but help but to love. Together they are strong and a perfect fit. His Demand will keep you glued to the pages and you wont be able to put it down. I for one can not wait to see what both Gabe and Addie are hiding and who is behind everything Addie is running from. I really wish for the next book Her Submission like now. If the next one is anything like this one, then that is an instant one click. Go one click this one just to see what I'm talking about.

I have read every book associated with the Tall, Dark and Deadly Walker Brothers and their sexy AF Walker Security associates..probably my favorites of all, what's not to love when all those hot, sexy alphas are vying for your attention. I've been enjoying all the players and legal maneuvering (creative rule bending??) in the Dirty series and now Dirtier duet. I've had my eye on Gabe Maxwell through many of these books as he wows from the background in them, but now it's all about him..yay Lisa Renee!Gabe finds himself pondering his lonely personal life after his perpetually single brother Reid's wedding on this very night. Thinking is not helping so he heads into his favorite bar, spending some time with a familiar bartender and a few fingers of excellent whiskey. As Gabe scans the bar, his eyes lock on a gorgeous redhead sitting alone. The night is now looking up and of course, he pursues his mark for the evening, but what if what he wants to happen doesn't? Gabe, like his brother, like most of his friends, is not one to take no for an answer or let someone like her get away, but he is so pissed to discover, as he chases her down, that's exactly what happens. Gabe Maxwell doesn't get ditched and it's all he can think about now!Of course, if you've read any books by this author, you know she will give her bossy alpha heros a chance to do what they do best...defend, protect and go a bit caveman while doing all of that! I'll admit, it's fun to watch. They can rescue this damsel any time they want! Hot moments between the sheets and anywhere else for that matter are not off the table either. I loved it, loved that sexy Gabe, couldn't wait to see how demanding he really was 'behind the scenes'!One thing that was driving me a little crazy was Abbie, that red headed little ball of trouble. She had it stamped all over her...she was in, out, yes, no, can and can't for a good portion of the book...Abbie, get a grip, Gabe Maxwell wants you girl..man up and make up your mind! He's funny, sometimes sweet and did I mention so HOT??Anyway, there is evil plotting, suspense and villanous interferences in play here to spice up the story and to keep our Gabe on his harda$$ game and how he relishes playing it! Now and then, glimpses of couples from previous stories pop in, which is always a major story enhancement for me. Gabe is just as I'd hope he would be, Abbie is growing on me ever so slightly and then BAM, that very unexpected secret bomb of hers, pulled out of nowhere, is dropped but not explained. There may just be more to her than I thought!!! Hoping I can stand waiting to see how the repercussions of the 'secret' plays out and the mysteries are solved in the conclusion of this duet ...and more Gabe please...wow!

Abbie is a strong independent woman with a past that keeps resurfacing. She believes the only way to leave it where it belongs is to hire Maxwell and Maxwell to assist and that is how Gabe comes into her life.We have previously met Gabe in the Dirty Rich series as Cat and Reid are his siblings. Gabe is a successful lawyer who is intrigued when he meets Abbie. He has a past of his own which he would like to remain buried. From the moment they meet they have an instant chemistry and connection however a power struggle exists between the couple. She believes that anyone close to her is in danger while Gabe would do anything to protect her. Gabe has a reputation as a ladies man so convincing Abbie that they belong together is more difficult than he imagined. The secrets and lies mount up around them and escalate into a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting more of Abbie and Gabe.

I received an arc for an honest review. This is the first book in the Dirtier Duet. It’s about Gabe and Abigail or as Gabe calls her Abbie.Gabe first runs into her first at a bar and they share a very passionate kiss. The next time he sees Abbie is at his office. But he misses her and goes to the bar where he originally ran in to her. They have secrets that they keep from each other. But she has an ex that is associated with one of Reid’s old clients and their father.Abbie keeps trying to run to keep Gabe safe since her ex is a bad man and doesn’t accept Abbie divorcing him and moving on.There are so many secrets between them, I am not sure if they will survive. The book ends with a big cliffhanger and I for one can’t wait for the next book to come out.
