This is a must-have...but it would be nice to see COLOR pictures, maybe even slightly larger pictures in general. The detail could definitely be more helpful. I understand it just suppose to give you an idea of the process, but lots of mechanic newbies depend on these manuals and it would be nice to offer a clearer view of whats being shown. Its a must-have so we can't complain too much. But it would be a great idea to offer a 'Premium' manual. One that Does offer larger pictures, maybe More pictures, and added input/tips/detail on the most in-depth topics. Still its a must have!

I'm a Haynes guy when it comes to consumer car manuals. This manual is much like the rest. However, at the price these days, I'd much prefer to have more pictures of my car model in the instructions. Not a deal breaker but it's a pain for some of us weekend mechanics trying to work on our Mustang GTs. I'd love to compare it to the Chilton's for the same vehicle…

Has lots of useful information, but the one thing I bought this for it doesn't have in it. This doesn't have all of your electrical cables labelled where you plug in your radio so if you want to know what the cables do, good luck. You'll have to take it to someone who knows what they are doing. I was not able to install my radio with this book.

Haynes manuals are entertaining; the grainy black-and-white photos, the grubby hands... This is full of semi-useless information for things I'll never do, totally ignores convertibles, and uses repair procedures way more complicated than necessary. Supplement this with you-tube, and it's OK, but not great. I mostly got it as a security blanket, I'm in the habit of buying manuals for every vehicle I have. This one, though, sets a new low bar for Haynes. if nothing else, the cheap paper is probably pretty absorbent.

This book is well written, but I found out that it is exactly the same book as the "Chilton" book for this car. I thought I'd buy two different manuals for doing shocks, struts and clutch replacement on my 2002 Mustang, but it turns out that the same author wrote both books, so they are word-for-word the same exact book with the same pictures, just a different font so the page layout is slightly different. I was able to complete all the above projects using the step-by-step instructions in this manual.

A good book for beginners, I just use it for small things I forgotten over the years it's not very detailed on certain items but you can make do!

I bought this as a replacement for my old one, as the pages were damaged. I love having this book to save some money, it tells you in full detail how to do just about anything. If its something that you shouldn't attempt there are even suggestions to take it to an actual mechanic instead of fooling with it yourself since you may damage something. The book covers everything from stereo installation and removal to brake pads to fuses and electrical in the car as well as everything under the hood. Definitely a mustang owners companion!

It's a legit Haynes! I always purchase these for every car i have owned and my family does the same. As some others have stated it isn't totally specific to each model. It groups the coupes/verts/cobras into one book. And it deal with the 5.0s and 4.6sOnly downside is it's printed on pretty cheap paper and easily rips.I'm happy with my purchase though since it was much cheaper than buying it at an auto shop.

The book is really good if you have no/little knowledge about the Evernote application. The book presents the plans, features, it contains useful illustrations and it guides you how to set up your account. It also has some interesting ideas which can be easily implemented using the app. Overall, I really like it and find it useful, but I gave it 4 stars because most of the information can be found for free. The true purpose of this book is to save a LOT of time - you will learn the app a lot faster (like the author says - less than 90 minutes), rather than spending hours and hours on tutorials on YouTube.

I am new to Evernote, this book was just what I needed. The 'Ideas' section is great (there are 20 ideas for using the app) and there are simple tricks which are quite useful. The main feature of this book is that it saves you precious time. If you're not working and have plenty of time, maybe you can watch some free tutorials, but if you want to get into the meat as fast as possible, then this book is great. I would've liked more information though.

I quickly read through this book in two sittings and found several things that I immediately begin to implement. Writing my own widgets is something I wanted to do but hadn't really thought about. Now I'm programming if this then that and automating a lot of processes. Also taking photos as notes with the premium plan is brilliant. This is not an in-depth book on Evernote, there are plenty of those out there but this one will get you going with some unique ideas very quickly.

Has some good tips if you already have a reasonable knowledge of Evernote. If you want to really get to know Evernote you should look elsewhere.

Has helped me become a lot more organised. I've never been organised for as long as I can remember and do things as they come without planning them out. I have had Evernote recommended but never really check it out until recently and bought this book.The book has helped me understand what Evernote is and how to use. It is very concise and clear what the information the author is sharing with us and instruction son how to use it. I've completely made a U-turn and made up for my past lack of organisation. I highly recommend this!

Did not have a clue to what this app was about. I kept seeing mentioned in a lot of other places. This book was a quick read and was very helpful.

Short, easy and fast to understand. This book is simple to understand and it's the perfect guide to get started. If you want a complex guide and you already know how to use the app, it won't be useful to you, but if you are a newbie, this book is the best you can get. I have just finished reading the kindle version—the content provided me valuable insights even before I get the chance to read it again while taking personal notes slowly. Because the book is well-written and ahead of current medical concepts, I was deeply absorbed and couldn’t stop reading it. That’s why I am sincerely happy to share some thoughts with you.If I could summarize the content in a few words, I would say that Superfuel refines and improves the information I have learned from previous references in terms of fats. It is, in fact, an outstanding addition to previous books that encourage us to focus on healthy sources of fat—which has gotten more evident than ever to be a powerful source of energy for our bodies and brains.In general, diet/health/longevity/nutrition books deliver a comprehensive experience. We learn about multiple aspects at once—which is important to build a solid foundation. In Superfuel, however, Dr. DiNicolantonio and Dr. Mercola focus their attention towards fats, revealing findings that will help us fill in the blanks. We learn which fats support true health, which ones don't, and a lot more. Let me share with you a glimpse of each chapter:[Intro] The book starts with a primer on fats/oils, where we learn the structure of fats, the composition and discussion of commonly sources of fats/oils consumed by us, the processes industrial oils are undertaken, as well as an overview of omega-3 fatty acids.[1] The first chapter is one of the most well-written backgrounds about how we got wrong about natural sources of fat I have ever read. From Ancel Keys’s research back in the 50s all the way to more accurate clinical research studies. It is a key chapter to understand how we got to the present moment.[2] Next we jump to trans-fats, a devastating consequence of industrial food modification. From the discovery of hydrogenated oil in 1901, we learn how it was first introduced to our diets by Procter and Gamble. We then dive into the marketing strategies used to change consumer behavior. Also, how the trans-fat food industry was able to convince Health Organizations to agree with its flawed health benefits without evidences. Last, we learn how much effort was required to convert the FDA's submission and acknowledge the negative impact trans-fat has caused, resulting in the deaths of millions during the last century.[3] Chapter three is very important, where we get to confront omega-6 with omega-3. I was disappointed to know the consumption ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 shifted from approximately 1:1 earlier as a species to an incredible high ratio of approximately 16:1 these days. According to the evidences, this change is one of the main factors that contribute to chronic disease, inflammation, and even mental illness—all seeing these days more than ever before.[4] The fourth chapter is dedicated to the side effects of overconsuming omega-6 without enough omega-3 to counterbalance. The answer to that is chronic inflammation—over long periods of time, chronic inflammation has been linked to numerous diseases. The authors describe how established populations have thrived by consuming low amounts of omega-6 coupled with abundance of omega-3. Here is a short excerpt where the authors summarize the chapter: “We have looked at populations in very different geographic locations—the Arctic, the Mediterranean, Asia, and the southwestern Pacific—and determined that a unifying factor in their diets, whether they were high-carb or low-carb, mostly plant-based or more animal-based, was a very low intake of omega-6 and high intake of omega-3. Most of these groups had exceptional health and until recently were largely free of chronic diseases that have plagued the US for over half century.”[5] Next, the authors discuss specific topics related to fats, one by one, clarifying what we have normally assumed to be right. Some of the topics are: heart diseases, blood pressure, salt intake, blood lipid panels, platelets and coagulation, and a detailed explanation about olive oil—how and where to find safe sources, ways to distinguish when olive oil has gone bad, and how we can better store and use it once it's opened.[6] Chapter six was actually my favorite—Dr. DiNicolantonio and Dr. Mercola bring light to the discussion by clarifying the important role of DHA and EPA consumption against depression, cognitive decline, allergies, cancer, and even the importance to consume DHA and EPA during the early days, when babies are hugely benefitted through breastfeeding or supplementation.[7] We then move gears towards obesity: the problems associated with subcutaneous and visceral fats. It was crucial to learn how visceral fat causes inflammation and sends incorrect signals to our bodies. Additionally, there are advices on how to efficiently consume the right fat sources to help us burn the excess of body fat. By now you may know that omega-3 sources send signals to our bodies to burn more fat. Also, another key point here is that consuming these right sources in abundance has shown to be one of the best interventions for preserving muscle and promoting longevity.[8] Chapter eight is about introducing less-known oils and supplements such as krill oil, gamma linolenic acid, argan oil, and MCT. We get a closer look at them, one by one. The message here is that although we should be focusing on eating whole foods as often as possible, sometimes we should also include healthy sources of supplements. I guess, after reading this book, we all should strive for higher consumption of omega-3 sources.[9] Lastly, it’s a “how-to” chapter addressing the specifics of choosing the right food sources. This final chapter is where they put all together, including specifics on seafood, flaxseed, grass-fed meat, nuts and seeds.Here are some useful details I learned throughout the book:— It is shocking to know how factories process vegetable oils such as canola, sunflower, and corn by bleaching, deodorization, fractioning, and coloring under high pressure and heat—oxidizing these oils even more.— That during the paleolithic times we consumed somewhere between 2 and 4 grams of already converted EPA and DHA, showing evidences that if we want to match the same amounts we evolved on, we would need to increase our consumption of omega-3 sources expressively at the same time we would want to diminish the consumption of omega-6 sources.— Although we can convert alpha-linolenic acid into EPA and DHA, that doesn’t mean we do it well enough to provide our bodies and brains with sufficient amounts.— We should try to consume trusted sources of olive oil harvested no longer than 6 months. And once we open the bottle, we should aim to finish it in a few weeks.— We should store fish oil in the refrigerator or freezer. To take them with meal. To avoid consuming them with foods rich in iron. And that the optimal daily dose of combined EPA and DHA would be somewhere around 3 to 4 grams.— We can add a drop of astaxanthin or lutein into the olive oil bottle to prolong freshness and slow oxidation.— In terms of studies presented in the book, the one I was astonished the most was that at certain period of time in the mid 1900s people in northern India consumed as much as 19 times more fat than those in the southern areas, even though the rate of heart disease was around 7 times lower in the north. More than that, people in the north ate primarily animal fats and dairy while people in the south relied primarily on seed oils such as sesame and peanut oils.— That the consumption of high quantities of omega-3 has shown to increase anabolic response to amino acids and insulin, not only preserving muscles as we age but also inducing mitochondrial synthesis and regeneration.— Meat from grass-fed animals have up to 7 times more beta-carotene than meat from grain-fed animals. We can actually notice the difference by comparing the color in the fat.As a personal advice, perhaps I wouldn’t recommend this book for three main groups of people.[A] First, if you see yourself reading up-to-date research articles focused on the importance of certain types of fats, then I would potentially skip this book. Spoiler note: Dr. DiNicolantonio has published crystal clear peer-review articles, and we can read most of them for free online. Just type "DiNicolantonio" into the search box at PubMed. Voila![B] Second, if you, on the other hand, don’t know the essentials of a diet rich in quality fat sources, then I would encourage you to read a broader book first, which will probably be more valuable. Which books? Well, my favorite ones are “Fat for Fuel” by Dr. Mercola, “The Plant Paradox” by Dr. Gundry, “The Art and Science of Low Carbohydrate Living” by Dr. Phinney and Dr. Vollek, “The Paleo Cure” by Chris Kresser, and “The Paleovedic Diet” by Dr. Palanisamy. That is to say, Superfuel would be an excellent piece to stack on top of any one of these books.[C] Last, if you believe a diet permanently high in net carbohydrates is the only way to go, then this book may not meet your needs. I said “permanently” because lately some professionals, including the present authors, have promoted a more holistic approach to obtain benefits over the course of a lifetime through metabolic flexibility. That is, once adapted to burning fat for fuel, we would want to cycle between periods high in quality fats and shorter periods high in quality carbohydrates by increasing the intake of healthy sources such as sweet potatoes, cassava, yams, and parsnips.Well, I hope this review helps you form a more accurate opinion before any further decision. Again, in my humble opinion, this is the ultimate “bible” about fats and oils—and even those three groups of people I pointed out above will find worthwhile information here.Take good care,Haical

I have been on the ketogenic diet for around 7 months now and after watching a video on this I ordered the book. I am over 75% of the way done with the book and I have to say I am very disappointed in it.So far this far in I see nothing about the ketogenic diet and how anything relates to it. This book is all about Omega 3s VS Omega 6s. Chapter after chapter talking about how it affects every condition or problems with almost all of them coming to the same conclusion.After reading a few chapters you can predict the outcome of the next - too much Omega 6 over and over for everything. To me, this could of all been just one chapter showing a list of conditions and just say too much Omega 6 is the problem then the book can be 60% shorter with room for more information that may help someone pick the right foods and so on that is on a ketogenic diet.I find it very frustrating to read the same thing over and over and not get any information for why I ordered the book.If you want to know everything about Omega 3s and 6s this is the book for you.But if you are on a ketogenic diet and are hoping to get information to help you forget it. In fact, it is hard to even find the word Keto or ketogenic diet in all of the book so far. In fact, the video I watched of him talking he talked more about the ketogenic diet than any place in this book. I think this book has the wrong title. It should be called - the world of Omega 3s and 6s and how they can make or break you.

I love any research that completely busts myths that are causing public harm, and these authors have done it again. GOOD quality dietary fats are indeed super fuel. Harmful, industrially manufactured vegetable oils are indeed destructive to human health. SuperFuel points you in the right direction and is backed up with scientific references that make you understand how most western societies got so sick in 2 generations, why their lifespans are decreasing and what you can do to turn the ship around. For the love of you and your children, please read this book.

This book rambles on and on about good fats bad fats. It does have Accurate information on those subjects but not really any information on how to do the ketogenic diet. It’s also not written by Dr. Macola He’s mentioned in it & maybe did some writing. This guy is clearly a staunch evolutionist. He states theory as though they were facts, Which would give me pause about the other information contained in this book. However, I have already read the things that he has written. I am much better book is the keto zone by Dr. Colbert or fat for fuel by Dr. McCulloug which would give me pause about the other information contained in this book. Vegetable oils are really bad and omega 3 / omega 6 ratio is really important. I was shocked by the trouble they cause. I thought sugar was the main problem and the rest paled in comparison. I guess I was wrong.I cut my sugar/carb consumption by 75% and lost 50 lbs, dropped 10-15 points on blood pressure and 30 points on blood sugar. I thought that would be enough but blood pressure and blood sugar were still too high and my teeth and gums were still inflamed.Slaying the Mountain Dew monster was hard, hopefully the corn/soybean monster is easier.

Nice thick garden book with tons of information on herbs. One of the best Herb books I own, and I'm a garden book junkie. I actually bought this one used and I'm very glad I did. It gets used often. The one I bought is an older version. Here is the link Rodale's Illustrated Encyclopedia of Herbs

I had expected more in the way of illustrations based on the books cover. I would not consider a good compendium for beginners since all of the information is in alphabetical order rather than literally any other way which would make sense. There also seems to be a lot of misinformation or conflicting information throughout. Still a decent resource for the price I bought it for.

I bought this book close to 20 years ago. I love it and it's pictures of herbs. Some how it got wet and the pages stuck together and tore when I tried to open it...I was heart broken. So I decide to order another one last week. I was a little disappointed that the book was much smaller. The print looks about the same size but the book is almost 1/2 of the thicknest smaller and the diameter seems a tiny bit smaller. I wonder what's missing. I know I read on other reviews that some of the info is outdated...maybe this one is revised in those areas. I enjoyed this book in the past mostly I could see a pic of the herb...

a lot of helpful info-- but REALLY outdated in terms of medicinal uses etc. We know so much more about herbals and their uses now.

If you want to learn anything from the folklore,history,culinary properties, toxicity, therapeutic aspects or gardening plus more of herbs...This book is your one stop shop for all these things. Fantastic illustrations, in itself a treasure of a book. This teaches you the proper way to make compresses, it has a small section on dream pillows, the meaning and origin of most plant names and even a section defining their use in sorcery. (not a how to guide, a history of it!)I enjoyed this book very much.

Bought this book when it was originally published many years ago, but it got lost in a move. I was so happy to find it again. If you’re into herbs, this is your bible.

Picture perfect, just what I was seeking in my concerns for illustrated drawings of the Herbs so that I may identify them growing in the wild. Limited photos of herbs, could have been a little more expanded. But overall it exceeded my illustrated interest.

Good reference but some information is conflicting. For example: It discusses the toxicity of tansy for use as a medicine (though it has been used in years past) and then gives culinary uses for tansy in recipes. It seems like there should be a more clear cut delineation and/or specific references for further research

Two stars is a bit generous, but you've got to give a little credit for just showing up: Poorly written, clearly no editorial input to this "write an e-book for profit" endeavor. Weird leaps from patronizingly simple ("tools - a term which you will use mostly when communicating with your lumber supplier..." honestly, wtf? we need a definition of the term 'tools' in re chicken coops?), to attempts at gentrified speech "So, how exactly do you go about it? Let's discuss that: ( I suspect that if I don't know what "tools" means, I likely will not understand the what "let's discuss that now:" means). Then, when we get into explaining how to construct, it is absolutely backwards - no, really, backwards, as in starts at the end:This is verbatim: "The Steps Step 1 - Walls and Roof Construction At the end of this step, your walls should in such a way that the back wall is 8 x 16 inches and has 8 pallets, ..." [sic], yes, the non-sequitor, or grammatical omission, or whatever, is the author's error, not a misquote.This writing is chock full of these simple editorial errors - every couple of lines, you'll encounter something that just doesn't make sense if you read it as written adn don't "assume what the author meant here."Three things strike me as I began reading this - 1. this is likely written by a well educated non-English speaking individual, (pedantic constructions in many areas "such that..", etc., 2. this is likely written by someone who compiled information through research, and 3. those positive reviews are either fake/paid/friends-of-the author, or they were written by idiots and simpletons. If I am mistaken about 1 and 2, my apologies to the author, but this just isn't professional work worthy of publishing for sale. If you are not capable of proofing for cohesion, flow, grammar and spelling, well then engage someone who is before putting this into the public domain - or, call it a blog. As for 3., no apologies, I've read the same book, and from where I am sitting, you folks are really missing some key discrimination with regard to what constitutes a good published product.

Very very simple no page numbers but if you need a couple of coop plans may be worth the money. The thing that disappointed me was that on the two plans they did have that would be usable the dimensions were not readable and blurry. You figure at the least the writer or editors would make sure you can read the measurements.

I bought both this Chicken Coops book and the authors book concerning Raising Chicken. Search for ”Backyard Chicken” and you will find it on top of the page. They Complement each other very well. Should you be interested in learning more on the topic of building a chicken coop then this book contains both images and explanation in text. So you will receive both a visual explanation (images) and a text explanation which is really good.

This book provided two services. I wanted it for ideas, and my husband needs it for instructions on building. I love this book. Includes supply list which will come in handy. Illustrations are great, the numbers are kind of small but not enough to complain about.

Not so much !Coming from a building background with an ability to read and understand plans and directions. I find this rather vague in substance and lacking clear and understandable plans.

Very disappointed. Book lacks any real plans and content. You are better off buying a chicken coop kit and putting it together

Review chicken coopAs the title suggest the book covers necessary aspects in order to build a Chicken coop. The pictures used in the book is a bit small but you are still able to see different measures and such on the pictures. I can recommend this book. The only downside I would say is that the text should be more profound but this is just a minor ”base for improvement”
