A lot of out of date information. They start off saying that they go to the park more days than they can count yet they recommend a hotel that was announced was closing and torn down a year ago. They tell about a specific fireworks show that hasn't been shown in over a year, and recommend a dining experience that ended 18 months ago. This is local knowledge?? I live in another state and more than 800 miles from the park and I'm astonished at all they got wrong before I got past the Main St chapter of their book. What a waste of money
Was not as useful as I had hope. Very little information past very basic. Does not tell you which attractions are under construction for the 2018 season. Tells you to use FastPass but doesn’t tell you all the tips and tricks like other guide books do. Very disappointed because I was lead to believe the book included discounts...

This is a very basic book. There are quite a few typos, which can be rather distracting. I ordered this and the unofficial guide. Much prefer the unofficial guide to this one.
This book would be a valuable resource for anyone planning a trip to Disneyland & Southern California, even if it is a repeat visit. The book covers all things Disneyland, and even touches on Universal. This guidebook begins with what you can expect month by month at Disneyland. The section on Disneyland Hotels and Good Neighbor Hotels is complete with great information on each property as well as the perks at each property. It does a great job of summarizing each ride, attraction, and restaurant. I enjoyed the section on the myths of Disney, it's great to see a little history of Disney's original park and if those myths are actually true. This book will be used many times while planning our upcoming trip to Disneyland!
Wow! What a waste of money! This guidebook is filled with incorrect, out of date information (about what attractions offer fast passes and places in downtown Disney that are not even open yet) and tons of typos. Entire words are left out or misspelled. An entire paragraph was repeated twice (pg 201-202). After just flipping through the book for about 15 min, I found all of these problems.
I am planning another trip to Disneyland and wanted to find out what has changed. I found this guide quite accurate. And picked up some useful tips.
